Whoa...
It's been like forever since I've posted last. Mainly because I just remembered my password...So since June 16th I've done a lot. Got a new job as a tea cart girl, so I serve tea and cookies. Exciting. (Note: I don't have my glasses on so its hard to see the screen so if there are misspellings I'm sorry lol) I started my second year of college, lots of hard classes. For a while our football team had been doing well, not so much anymore. Only about a month til finals and Christmas break, I think I can last...I also need a job up at school, badly. The lack of a car limits me to jobs on or close to campus. I could take the bus but they aren't too reliable off campus. I have some big news but I'll make you feel the suspense. Saturday is the big MSU vs UofM game, families will be split, brothers against brothers. Riots with occur and one team will win. Should be crazy! My little sister turned 17 yesterday, whoa can you believe it? So about 7 screaming giggling girls came at 5:30 and are still here today. Makes it a little hard to study. I have two exams this week, wonderful. I need to get ready for church. Don't have many church clothes at home, so I have to be creative and put things together and hope that they work. lol People should understand I hope! lol

Motor Muster weekend!
You all should come to the village this weekend! and come visit me! :) I work from 11-9pm today and 11-5 tomorrow. Whew what a weekend! If I am bussing I serioulsy will not be happy. lol So yesterday, we didn't go see a movie but we did go to the pyschic (which I now can spell lol). She said that I will meet a man soon and he'll be the one and he is handsome and will be very successful in life. So score, lol. She said that jade is my power stone, I happen to have a real jade necklace from China, interesting. I think I'll wear it more. lol She said I had a long life line with no deadly diseases. She thought two kids, who will be very happy. She said I have a strong relationship with my family. I have to relisten to the tape, she recorded the whole session, to remember more. I got my Dad his present, Mel Brooks dvds. lol My friend had never heard of Mel Brooks. We went to Best Buy and saw Chuck Tulley there. He is the guy that checks people's bags as they leave (like at Sam's Club) so with that in mind, the best quote of the day....
chuck: Hey, I saw you guys walk in but you didn't see me
Me: Oh well I'm looking for the Mel Brooks dvd set
Chuck: Well I'll just use this sweet walkie talkie and ask someone
Me: ok.....(so the guy comes and tells me that don't sell that, poo)
Me: So why is your polo yellow and everyone's elses is blue?
Chuck: I'm the best and I make sure no one steals anything
Me: So why did that lady just walk through and it beeped and you didn't do anything...
Chuck: She looked like a nice lady, sometimes I let them slide!
LOL omg lol so you can steal from the Southland Best Buy and Chuck will let you...
For anyone of you who love Mel brooks movies, I got him Blazing Saddles, The Producers (the original one), and Airplane! All classics. It was either that or the National Lampoon Vacations dvds. (Maybe I'll buy those for myself.... :) )

A little mad...
So at work, each cashier gets her own drawer/key for the day. When you step away from the drawer or switch drawers to go on break you are supposed to log out and lock your drawer. Then the computer is insync with your drawer. So I come back from break and there is a line so I decide to wait a little while and let the other girl take the customers (I was not in any hurry to deal with rude customers...) So she takes her drawer out and goes to register 2. So I put my drawer in and start taking customers. About 30 minutes later I look at one of the reciepts and notice that it says Shar......Mine are supposed to say Lism. Uh oh, the other girl didn't log out. So now the credit card reciepts are in her name but in my drawer. So now my drawer is going to be over like 60 dollars and her's will be under for the same amount. I better not get fired for what she did. 50 dollars is the limit before termination...grr. My manager said that security will figure out what happened and it will be alright. Hopefully...
I was thinking today after some observations that I made yesterday. My family is different and no one can relate to how we are. I mean the things in my life are things that other families don't have. My grandparents fly all over the world likes its as easy as going to Ohio. Oh and I also noticed how insenitive some people can be, like I was sitting with my Grandma before my parents got there and we were talking to some people that we didn't know. Well the guy knew my Grandpa, but didn't know that he passed away. My Grandma was saying how he only ate meat and potatos and didn't like his food to touch, so she never really experimented with foods and made mostly the same foods each night. Well this lady is like, well at least you don't have to cook only meat and poatoes anymore and she laughed. My Grandma and I just stared at her, like why would you say that? We loved how he would only eat certain things, he kept his southern heritage alive. I mean it stings when my one aunt just tells people so freely and with no emotion, "Oh Carl died like 6 months ago" One it isn't her buisness and two maybe she's not emotional but we still miss him a lot. grr.

I want this car...
Forget the Saturn ION, I want the Dodge Caliber! My favorite part, besides the ipod holder/plugin?

The 2 tone interior color! lol Not like I'll ever get to drive it. I'm the middle child and I have to just deal with it. lol
Nothing too exciting yesterday......YEA RIGHT! My life is a circus, of course something happened. Let's start with the morning...
So I see a whole bunch of ants in my room, so I violently kill them with my shoe making a big racket. So my Dad comes to see what I'm doing and says that I probably have food in my room. I say, uh no. So he throws everything from my floor either on my bed or in the hallway. Finding no food (like I told him) he proceeds to make me get down on my hands and knees and scrub the floor, because maybe I spilled something a long time ago. So I get done with that and go to work. At work nothing too big happened, Meredith might apply to work there. So graduation was last night. I went for my two cousins. During the day when my aunt came over to demand to use our cooler, she inquired as to why we were going. My Dad simply replied, well I have two nephews graduating and I was invited by one of them to come. Oh, she says. So when we get there, my Dad sits down and turns to her and asks, "Oh which child up there is yours?" LOL hahaha idiot. Why would she ask that? lol Saw Mrs. LaRosa, her daughter is going to State so I was telling her about the different dorms. She wants her to be in Synder/Philips, I didn't want to tell her that it was probably full. I told her, do not write Brody or Hubbard/Akers. lol
So yea...
Today I work, tomorrow is devoted to shopping with 2 paychecks ready to be spent and getting my hair cut, finally. I'm assuing a family dinner is in order, seeing as my family is coming in from WI. Should be fun........maybe.

And you all just think I'm paranoid...
Ok how do you explain today's paper? A house on the 1700 block of Morris was reported to have someone open their window and grope their daughter with an attmept to abduct her. Right here in Lincoln Park. Granted I have no clue where Morris is, that's not the point.
So I was on register yesterday, well register 2. So I only went on if we were busy, which we were and I did. I feel all important with my vast collection of keys to all sorts of drawers. lol I like seeing my name on the reciept. haha It says "LISM" that's my username I guess. lol HAHA So we have this thing that if you buy a coffee/soft drink and keep the reciept, you get free refills all day at any of the resturants in the village/museum. So these two old ladies come through with 2 coffees and 2 muffins. She just keeps walking and I ask if she needs to pay. She informs me that she has already paid for the coffee, I was like yea but what about the muffins? She also said she had already paid for them.....So I was like so why were you in line? I thought maybe she did pay for them in the other line, but my first thought was, "Lady, the free refills doesn't apply to everything on the menu!" lol We'd go out of business. lol
We went out test driving new cars yesterday, so far we like the Saturn ION, the Colbart (whoa what that spelling doesn't look right...), the Volkswagon Rabbit (Which I don't know what it looks like). Today my parents are going to 3 more dealerships. I got to drive the ION, it drives nice, but if and when we ever get one, I'll probably never get to drive it. It's called being a middle child. lol Next year Meredith graudates from high school and she'll need a car for college and Laura graduates from college and she'll need a car. So I don't get anything and will have to have my little sister pick me up from college anytime I want to go home. Great. I argued that I was older and my Dad said...so....does that make a difference? YES it does! lol Maybe it'll turn out like the Chicken Soup for the Soul stories (which I LOVE btw lol I'm a dork) which they surprise the middle child with something nice after neglecting them for so long. lol haha Wishful thinking. I have Friday and Saturday off! What sweet days to have off! I'm getting my hair cut on Friday and Saturday I have 2 grad parties, a dance rectial (which I'm not going too lol) and my cousin from WI is coming to visit. Whew busy day...

I went to Hell and back!
So I drove to see Ashleigh and Chris. I did pretty well, I must say. I got quite burned on the boat even though I stayed under teh canopy and had on two kinds of sunblock. We ate at Zukey Lake Tavern and parked the boat at the resturant. Then we went to Dairy Queen before it stormed. lol Then Ashleigh had to go to work and I hung out with Chris. We drove to Hell and walked through an art fair with tye-dyed shirts. We had dinner at his house and then had to go back to get my car. Eek, 94 east was closed. I screamed quite loudly in my car, it would have been funny to see, since I also stopped in the middle of US-23. lol But I made it home and saw my Dad walking down Fort Street, so I picked him up. lol Now I'm home. The breeze from my window feels heavenly but as we all know I sleep with them closed.....always. lol

I'm surprised that I still have a job...
I don't know why the Henry Ford employs me. I'm probably the clumsiest employee that they have! lol Today I mistook crisco for window cleaner...The bottles are almost identical...Why wasn't the glass getting clean? ha Then I spilled gravy into the water wells. But I have fun, I make sure of it! I've decided that I need to go and order food so that I can actaully taste it. Customers ask my opinion and I hate to respond with, "Well this is Greenfield Village and they don't allow their employees to eat anything from the resturant, so no I haven't tried anything here except for the hot dogs, which I have eaten everyday since last April." But I do enjoy a good hotdog, any coney island is a great place for me! :)

Did I hear you right....10,000?!
So today they inform us that tomorrow there are 10,000 school kids scheduled to come to the village!!!!! OMG What other work has that many customers? Plus the regular visitors. Since they told us that, a lot of people are randomly calling off tomorrow. lol I really want to see Knocked Up. It looks good. Also theres another movie, called Once, its like a modern Irish musical, the trailer looks SO good. lol I smell peanut butter. It was so hot today, like 85 outside and the counter was around 150 for the food, I sweated a lot. There was this foreign lady who had, I guess it was 3, her 3 year old and it wasn't wearing a shirt. The lady put it on the counter so this shirtless kid just stared at me. I was WTF? put some clothes on your kid. Laura is leaving for Tennessee tomorrow morning. For a week. Too bad I work, like everyday, otherwise I could enjoy being home by myself. ha I listened to a tape in my Grandma's car today. but theres no play button, so when I would fast foward or rewind i would just keep going or stop, so I would have to eject it and start it over, while driving on Southfield. lol One of the buttons fell off, lol I think it was the fast foward. lol

Just Kidding
I'm a rere, I didn't go to Jackson, I went to Monroe this weekend. Jackson, well Chelsea is next weekend. My bad. Ahh So Ashleigh and Chris' old band director went golfing with my old director! Mine probably beat theres, but hey let's not gloat. Is that how you spell it? I think that's the first time I've ever typed that word before. haha This week is just another week of work, nothing exciting. ::sighs:: Nothing exciting ever happens, I do the same things everyday. My city is getting crummier by the day and it makes me not want to live here. So I think when I finally graduate, get married and have a family, I don't want to live in LP, unless they clean this city up. Wow that was a long run-on sentence. But I like Downriver, I mean I LOVE Wyandotte, with a passion. We were supposed to move there when I was little, but instead we ended up moving from Moran to New York, in the same city. I think its a curse, both of my parent's grew up here and didn't move away. As with the rest of my family. I have to get out. I think I still like Michigan, unless I make it big and want to move to NY or Cali. hmm I'll just have to wait and see what my life has in store for me.

lalala It's the weekend
So I was going to change this up a bit, but then I looked at it and decided I like the way it looks. So there. haha
I might go to my high school band's band camp at Blue Lake, uber excited. Because we all know I won't get into the MSU marching band lol I mean theres only 4 spots open and I'm almost positive there is more than 4 music majors who automatically get in, so I might not even audition. The last weekend of band camp is the last day to move in, so I might have to figure that out. I don't have to work Memorial Day Weekend!!!!!! I think I have to work Memorial Day because it is a Monday, but I'm not sure since I am still not on the schedule yet this will be my third week back to work. This weekend I'm going to Jackson or close to it with some of my family. I'm going to Monroe for Memorial Day weekend, now that I'm not working. I discovered a new kind of cereal that I just adore. Its one of the Special K and its like vanilla almond and its GOOD! lol I get paid next week! yay!

Monday Monday
I bussed today at work, not fun. At least Mike was there because the other busser was sorta bossy. I learned how to refill the pop dispenser thing, not as hard as I thought. lol It took two of us to figure it out. So I guess my Wisconsin family is coming around the 9th of June for Phil's grad party. Should be interesting. I won't get paid for another two weeks. At least it will be one big check. Hmm let's see...$6.95 times 5 hours=34.75 for a day, times 5 days a week=173.75 a week and if I get paid for 3 weeks I should get around...$521.25 before taxes. Yippie! For as much as I complain about work, I do get some good money. Well I would get more if I got paid more than minimal wage. I think its because I work a lot of days.

Mommy's Day
Tomorrow is Mother's Day, I got my mom a MSU mom t-shirt that she wanted a while back and made her a cute card. On the front it says, The hand I'll always hold, the love I'll always love. So cute! :) She'll cry. My internet was out for most of the day. I watched more sweet Law and Orders today. lol Tuesday's episode looks good! :)
Oh so Wednesday is starting to sound like a grand day! yippiee! I have so many places to show you livington countiers (if thats a word...) like today next to the 99cent carpet store, there looks to be a semi truck that someone is living in...sorta like the ghetto box car kids. I love Lincoln Park...Then some village time with their overpriced food. lol Golly I wished I had gotten paid this week. I still need to pay for my half of the futon, which I haven't forgot about lol. Maybe we'll go to the Chinese place on the corner of Dix and Breast. hahahaha

Will this ever end?
So first I check my grades.....passed math, sweet! So then I casually scroll down.......Economics.....1.0.....wait, what scroll back up.........1.0......That can't be right. So I get all huffy and add up my grade and find that I should have at least a 2.5 So I email about everyone at MSU. Now let me explain about this class. 15 points a week, 12 for the weekly quizzes and 3 for the problem set (which you get for just turning it in), so the syallbus states that our grades will be emailed to us weekly. So each week I get the email from the scantron (but half of the quiz is written so I assume that I have some extra points) The top says something raw score. But the bottom would always say like raw score 10, so I thought with my added 3 points, well 13 out of 15 isn't bad. So I conitune on through the semester thinking that I'm really cool.
Apparently I was failing and didn't even have a clue....
That something raw score was my quiz grade, and that 10 was for the entire week, including my problem set!!!!!! I felt like an idiot and now I have to retake the class. My overall GPA is like a 2.7 and I'm pissed. I was trying to explain to my dad that if I would have known from week one that 10 wasn't a good score that I would have worked on it, but since I thought I was doing well.....
college sucks. Like whoa. I hope it gets better...
and to make matters worse, I'm on reg tomorrow at work. grr.

Work tomorrow.........oh man lol
Ok so today I did some stuff......yes I did!
*Church-ahhhh Roy sang a solo. He was our old pastor who had two strokes and he's getting better slowly. Singing has helped his progress. Only person under the age of 50 in the choir was me. lol But they had Krispy Kreme donuts. OMG I haven't had those in so long! I might volunteer to feed the people at the Mission Hope Church. (ie an abandoned building that some homeless people turned into a church near ours, we've sorta adopted it and feed them everyday. Like a soup kitchen.) Not sure yet.
*Downloaded/uploaded A LOT of Stevie Wonder and the Beatles. :)
*Mowed the grass. LOL Might seem harmless but I have a huge yard and a riding mower. It goes fast.......I cut those corners. I wish someone could have taped me. lol I got grass in my nose.
*Since my little sister is being a beotch and won't give up the car. (She made a fuss when I walked up to the school on Friday so I could drive to my work to fill out paperwork and then drove back to pick her up from school.) Hello, its not her car, we all had turns when the other would come home and you have to give the car up. Well anyways, my older sister has to drive me to work. great.
* My sister bought Guitar Hero=you will all come to my house to play ;)
*Band concert this Thursday at 7 :)
*Speaking of work, I just went back because Katie is there and she got transferred to the custard shop. poo. Well now I can get some custard. lol

Band!

Freshmen year of marching band.....not a good hair year I must say. lol So its summer and I have many band related activities lined up! Alumni band is playing at the spring concert! Yay for some contra time! N*Stink is the week after (a benefit concert for my drama teacher who passed away) and my friend is starting a percussion group that will practice over the summer and perform in the fall. Should be fun!
Yes you are all jealous that my dorms are beautiful! This would be North Campbell hall. It's purdy :)

Wanna take a stroll?
...down memory lane? Why sure! :)
August 28-Move in day. Laura and I got me all settled in, in my first dorm room of my college career. Now we couldn't fit everything of ours, we are girls with a lot of stuff, so my parents were coming up later with the rest and maybe some dinner. Around 7pm I wondered where they were, I was getting hungry. I soon lost my appetite. My Dad informed me that on their way here, my Grandpa had passed away. I felt bad because I knew my mom wanted to be with him and because of us she was on the road instead of being with him. The next day I went to the pep rally thing with Chris and Sarah. It was raining. lol So I packed up all of my things and Laura and I headed back home. We didn't return until Monday night. I missed my first day of college classes. I emailed my teachers, one of my teachers sent me a nasty letter. Fuck her. I cried myself to sleep most weekends, for that was at the time when Miss Wilcox would go home every 2 seconds. I just kept thinking about how I would never see him again. I was his sugar. I was the closet to him. Every holiday since my birth, I have sat in the chair next to him. Every one. So this year I dreaded going home for holidays.
September-Went home for homecoming. Got my first alumni band experience. Laura and my Dad's birthdays.
October-Middle of teh semester. By this time I would have probably written about 7 papers for WRA. Insane, I know. Every Tuesday and Thursday I had lunch with Sarah. I of course spent every other evening with Ashleigh and Chris. lol Sarah doesn't hate me anymore. I think her sister still does, but thats later on in this saga.
November- Thanksgiving. OH God. I was not ready for this, the pain I felt. It was still too soon.
December-My first taste of college finals. I had two on Monday (WRA and math) and my easiest on Thursday. So a nice week of leisure time. Ahh Christmas break. I avoided Taste AT ALL COSTS! lol Then it closed and I was like, whew! haha Spent some time with Katie. Didn't do a whole lot....hmm did my family come visit? Oh yes they did. So every night we had huge family dinners. If you know my family, you know that my mom and me were only there for the laughs. Try feeding 23 people for 6 days. Yay, that's what I thought.
January- Spent New Year's with Katie. Guitar Hero is pretty much the sweetest game ever. lol I'm a closet rockstar. New semester, equipped with new classes. I believe Buffalo Wild Wings was our first dinner of the new semester. Of course. I learned the fine art of racquetball and forced un-suspecting people to play with me. (*What a fun activity for the summer....lol Idea!*) lol
March-Went by really quickly! Spring Break! Arizona and California to visit old people! I had sushi and it was wonderful. Thanks Karl! Went to Paramount Studios, climbed a couple of mountains. You know, the usually Mixter adventure.
April-My birthday! 19! and Katie's birthday....who I still need to get a present for....I noticed being up here that I have become a little clueless when it comes to remembering dates. Like how I forgot to mail the postcards and her birthday card, even though they were on my desk the entire time. lol
May-Is right now! School ends for me in 4 hours! Spent most of my time with my soon to be roomie Ashleigh. lol She's probably so sick of me! LOL I do that to people. Oh we also picked a new member in our posse, Brian. Who I am not mad at, for the record. haha We are going to buy nails from him at Home Depot. We shall have more Wii parties next year with his roommate's gf and her vag.
I have done so much this year, I really have changed. ha I have friends now. Ones who miss you when you're gone. Oh my pod's charged. lol
hahaha I can't study anymore because I sold back my book and got screwed once again. God dang it, the website said I would get 13 dollars, and guess how much I got? .....guess....guess...................................$1. ha So I owe people money, so they should be watching in the mail for it soon. I won't forget. It would be really nice if I got paid next week, but I don't know what the pay schedule is yet.
Oh tomorrow, I'm going to see my old band director! I'll ask him if him and Sutton were besties :)

Ahh I haven't updated in awhile....
Shame on me! I've just been so busy! Finals are really kicking my butt. I have to do well on them, I have no choice. Then we have the marching band dilemma. All of my required classes are past 4, but if I make it into the marching band, they practice from 4-6. But my mom says that it would have been a waste of money on my sax if I don't auditon. Even though I paid for my own sax and I'm still going to play it. I wanted to audition for the concert band. My roommate moved out and the room reals really big and empty. lol I'm moving to the bottom bunk! lol Tomorrow my parents are coming up to take most of my stuff home and then they are going to dinner with me and my friends. mmmm Olive Garden. I took some candy from a Tiger yesterday. My first final isn't until Wednesday but I plan on only studying for the next four days. My last final is Thursday, so at least I get them all done in a two day period. Wednesday we are having our last party of the school year. :( Staying up late and eating pizza with my friends :) At least next year Ashleigh will be my roommate so I'll see her a lot more. lol Augh since Elizabeth's gone, I have to clean and straighten the room by myself. Oh well. She did take her tv so at least I won't have any distractions. Well besides my computer. I go back to work the monday I get home, fun. Playing in the band concert, May 10! Yay! I get to break out my contra! How exciting lol OOOOO I just remembered that my Cold Stone coupn hasn't expired yet! Ok so I'll take some time out of my studying for that :)

Hello!

Doesn't this look good? Oh the White Castles in Lincoln Park. Why do I love it so? :)
Tomorrow's my birthday! Trying to decide where I should eat tomorrow. I need to run some errands today. Tonight we are going to see Freedom Writers, I'm excited because I wanted to see it. I took a nap yesterday and it felt good, except that I woke up all groggy. Ick. My birthday cookie was good! :) OOO Maybe I'll buy a cake for tomorrow, maybe a Cold Stone cake!

Easter
and no Hosanna. Poo. and no balloon launch. But on a high note the choir sang 'The Lord Bless You and Keep You' which I of course knew all the words too. I was the only one without music, because I rock. lol It reminded me of Europe...But an Easter without any songs with Hosanna in it is unacceptable. It is soo cold! There is snow on the ground. I repeat, snow on the ground! Friday I went out for my 'birthday' dinner even though my birthday is...wait its exactly a week from today. yay. We got some lobster. Oh I love any sort of crab/lobster. We drove all the way out to Ann Arbor in a truck without heat, it was not fun. I'm glad that school is ending, I would feel better if I knew for sure I had a job. I could relzx after that. Maybe I'll call Blue Lake tomorrow. I mean I would be the best music librarian that would have ever seen. Serioulsy. Saw Blades of Glory last night. It was funny, of course. You could totally tell that all of the moves were computer enhanced. lol Made me want to go ice skating. Ok I'll have more to say later.......green bean casserole is calling my name...

State Rep. assumes that Lincoln Park, MI would like a topless bar...
When asked what Downriver city would be interested in a top-less nude bar, our State Rep from Southgate gave them Lincoln Park's number. The bar is from the magazine Hustler. Apparently our city is just calling out for another adult entertainment bar.

ROFL
Oh I love Katie! I love us! ha So this is what she wrote on my wall.....
"So I have the funniest memory of us..
Ready, go!
Remember in AIDS education class with Mr. Miller how we had to write a question down? Well remember how we heard that if you cut your mouth on Doritos you get AIDS, so that's the question we put down, lol. I remember he read that out loud and got so mad and started yelling at us. haha...
♥"
Yea so this is why we had no friends in elementary school......I can't wait for Easter so we can hang out!!

Happy
Lately I have felt very happy. I'm not sure if its because of the nice weather, we hit 90 yesterday. Or the fact that school is winding down and I won't have to worry about school for 4 months! lol On Wednesday, we are going to a Lansing Lugnuts (baseball) game, apparently its for my birthday and I don't have to pay. Ahh I feel loved! We wanted to get free tickets because my Dad knows the owner but I guess they haven't talked in a while so I just couldn't ask for them. lol But they'll only like 7 dollars because its minor league. Ha I called my former band director to ask him something. I called around 8am this morning because I knew he'd be at school and I was already up and reayd for the day. He's like, "You're already quite perky and its only 8am!" LOL That just made my day. I miss him. Ok so take two on Spamalot. It's coming to the Wharton Center next year. So I will try again. lol I better get to go this time! lol

Cotton Candy!
Mine fell on the floor :( Math exam today :( But I did study so let's see if that helps. Today is Thursday and I quite enjoy Thursday classes. ha Ashleigh, Chris, Jen and I are going camping, should be interesting. Only one boy and hes informed us that we are going hiking, well I like to hike so that's ok. lol I hope it doesn't rain, I haven't tented it in awhile. Once you have a trailer you don't usually backtrack. lol I like my freezer and microwave. lol OMG I wake up and guess what? Its 30 degrees! It was 60 yesterday! No! Uh huh....I should hit the open road to class but I just can't seem to get up and it doesn't start until 9:10 and I'm always early. I live like only across the bridge from the building so its my closet class.

Sweet Charity is coming with the one and only Molly Ringwald and its only 27 dollars!!! I mean come on, you can't pass that up! We're going camping the weekend after my birthday, it should be fun.

Frowning :(
I am so pissed and sad. My drama teacher passed away lst year, one of my favorite teachers, ever. So they are having a benefit concert and its April 19 and that's a Thursday and I have class on Friday. I want to go soo bad. The concert is "N'Stink" which all of the fine arts teachers put together 3 years ago and they are doing it again this year in honor of Mr. Hall. It would mean so much to me if I could go. Maybe I could talk to my teachers and explain the situation. Well one of them is on drugs and the other doesn't take attendance on Fridays....
Anyways this put me in a bad mood, which would be better if I could go.......

Finally a post!
OMG This has been a whirlwind of a week! Let's start at the beginning...
Friday: Our plane was supposed to live at 7:40, delayed to 8:25. So we board around 8:30ish but the pilot is in Orlando and didn't arrive on the plane until 9. Then we had to de-ice the plane and didn't take off until around 9:40. Arrived in Phoenix around midnight. While waiting for the luggage they have a drill and all the sirens and lights flicker. So around 3am we finally find my Aunt's house in the dark.
Saturday (early): We wake up, still very tired, and drive to Supersitution Mountains and climb them all day. Ate in Tortilla Flat, odd town.
Sunday: Went to a beautiful church, believe it was United Church of Christ. Met my cousin and her boyfriend there and drove to Jerome. This was about 5,000 ft above sealevel. All this city had was art galleries, my aunt is in to buying art. Then we spent the night at my cousin's condo.
Monday: Wake up early, yet again. Walk around Arizona State University while my cousin is in class. Ate at a Sonic! lol Then around 11:30 left for Santee, CA. About 6 hours later we get to my great-great-uncle's trailer. lol He's old...So he goes by himself to get pizza and his wife tells us that he has dementia...So should we have went with him? lol So he brings back 5! pizzas. Way too much since they ate only one piece each. Stayed in a shady motel that was very creepy in Carlsbad, CA.
Tuesday: Drove up to Rancho Santa Magarita to visit my Dad's uncle and cousin. Walked along the beach of the ocean in Laguna Beach. They live in the freakin OC. There house was huge, I guess Kobe was supposedly moving into their subdivision. So we spent the night there.
Wednesday or today: Drove into LA to visit my cousin who goes to school out here. Ate at Pink's (which has a wiki page...lol) and ate a huge hotdog with bacon, cheese, chili all wrapped up in a burrito. whoa...Drove around and went to the Getty Center. I'm told this is the most famous museum. So I am just standing and a security guard comes up to me and starts to whisper in my ear. It doesn't sound like English and I think he told me that he saw me in the other room and I don't look beautiful when I yawn. Ok...Now we are at a Ramada Inn and going out for Sushi soon with my cousin.
Tomorrow we are going to the beach and Universal Studios. Coming back Saturday, feel free to call me anytime, this has a lot of boring car rides! lol

lol So I'm a spammer...
lol I went to up-date this a couple of days ago and I recieved an interesting message. Apparently my account had been frozen because they thought I was a spammer and they were going to delete my blog!! But all I had to do was to email them to verify that I am infact a human and now it is all good.
I leave for AZ in 4 hours! Well my plane doesn't leave until 7 but we like to be early. Everytime I come home, I hate Lincoln Park a little more. Its just turned into a dump and the crime rate is sky rocketing. I mean I would love to stay Downriver but I don't know if I would live in LP....
Well I will keep you all updated on my travels!
If you want to talk email me at: lpmarcher06@yahoo.com!

Today sucked hard core like no other
Ok so I suck at math. I get it. So Tuesdays and Thursdays we have our TA, who I enjoy. But today our teacher decided to watch him and pretty much interrupt him every 2 seconds to explain what he was doing wrong. Poor Yuhei. Then we got our tests back, I knew I bombed it, so I wasn't surprised. But at the bottom of my paper the teacher wrote "Do you even come to class on a regular basis??" OMG I have gone to every single one of her gay classes!!! If she looked at her attendance sheets once in a while she would see that I have never been absent. Hell, I haven't been absent since like 4th grade!!!! She also wrote that she wanted to see me. I am about to just tell her what is on my mind. I am sooo mad, she makes me wanna kill myself. This is my last math class EVER and I all I care about is passing it. Heaven forbid I fail one out of 5! tests. I didn't fail the first one so why cry about this one. EERRRRRRRR I hate her! I hate her! I hate her mustache as well. She yelled at us for taking notes. FOR TAKING NOTES! She said we should have already learned that in her lectures. Well sorry I like to write things down more than once, THATS HOW NORMAL PEOPLE STUDY, YOU IDIOT! I hate her accent. I hate her shoes. I hate her, I hate her. She made me soo mad I cried for 2 hours today when I got back from class. I don't want to go to her stupid lectures tomorrow or ever. Augh.
Thanks for reading my rant, any pep talks are welcome.

Home sweet boring Home
So I'm at home and am quite bored. Nothing to do. Just like when I lived here. That is why I need a kickin' summer job to get me out of this house! I started packing a little.....I'm quite confused as to where my bathing suit is, though. I think it disappeared.....Got the CUTEST little pink tennis shoes yesterday that will never feel the wrath of snow! Oh and I came home and what was on the counter?? My girl scout cookies! Oh happy day! Two boxes of Samoas all to myself! I also bought 'A Walk to Remember' just because I had a gift card and I love that movie. I guess the new Best Buy that replaced the food court isn't all bad, its quite big and feels open. I like it. Took my cousin Phil out to dinner yesterday for his birthday, he got into Ferris, woot go him! Well I think my nose is bleeding so I guess I should go fix that. lol hahaha

Stole from Grant
"Ahh. Here we see a herd of band geeks in their natural habitat: the band field (commonly mis-labeled as the football field). One should never make this mistake within earshot of the band geek. Band geeks and football players are natural enemies, thus competition for territory is fierce. Several sightings have been reported of Band geek herds numbering well into the hundreds and two hundreds. While Football players usually travel in smaller groups, they feel superior to the Band Geeks but tend to keep to themselves.
The band geek is a complex and fascinating creature, capable of moving at high speeds in unison to form complex and intricate shapes on the fields, as well as producing amazing musical sounds. Herds of band geeks will frequently gather on weekends to put on these displays, coming from all over the area to participate and often waiting hours at a time for their turn. Band geeks are best viewed during the fall season when they gather with their individual herds to practice for the regional gathering of the herds. Band geeks have been known to migrate huge distances simply to attend these gatherings, known as “tournaments” to the band geek.
Though the herds of band geeks move as a single unit, the herd is actually made up of numerous subspecies of band geek. There are four main classifications of band geek, each with its respective subspecies. The classifications are: Percussion, Brass, Woodwind and Pageantry, often called Color Guard.
The band geek herd is led by one to two Alpha band geeks, typically known as “drum majors.” The Drum Major may come from any known subspecies. Unlike other animals, the status of the Drum Major is not determined by popularity, talent, or strength, but rather the odd ability to wave their arms around for long periods of time. This is their main function and they labor under the delusion that other members of the herd are watching them. Although these customs are strange, they should never be questioned.
The Percussion band geek falls into one of two subspecies: the Drum Line, made up of bass drums, tenor drums, snares drums, and sometimes cymbals, and the Pit, so named because that is the place most of the band would like to push them into. There are major differences between these two subspecies. The Drum Line takes part in forming the musical and visual displays with the rest of the herd on the band field. They are the beat of the band --often keeping tempo when the herd is practicing. The pit, however, is stationary. They stay within a pack-rat like nest of instruments, most commonly found just in front of the Drum Major. The Pit is a nomadic group, packing and repacking their equipment frequently—often leaving behind traces where they once where.
Next we have the Brass classification, consisting of the Trumpet, Alto Horn, Trombone, Baritone, and Tuba subspecies. The Brass is predominantly male, with the exception of the Alto Horns. The Trumpets are the highest voice, often the largest of the brass subspecies and quite frequently the most annoying. They spend most of their time competing with one another to see who can play the loudest, highest, and sometimes ugliest note. Dynamic markings mean nothing to them—they play only loud or ear shattering. The Alto Horns have a slightly lower voice and are easier to tolerate than the Trumpet. They like to confuse other members of the herd by calling themselves Mellophones, or Marching French Horns. The Trombones, by contrast, are nearly as annoying as the Trumpets, but their instrument also doubles as a weapon--so be wary of provoking them. Unlike other species of brass, the Trombone has no valves. The typical Trombone spends most of its time swapping dirty jokes with the Baritones or fellow Trombones. The Baritones like to refer to themselves as Euphoniums. No one quite knows why. They like to talk to the Trombones without actually having to be one of them. Do not trust the Baritones. They spend their time plotting the downfall of other sections so that they can take over their solos. The tubas are the lowest voice and calmest of all the brass subspecies. Carrying such a large instrument will take the fight out of almost anyone. It is the dearest wish of many to destroy the woodwind section, particularly the flutes, for complaining about how heavy their tiny instruments are. Overall, the brass section is responsible for most of the sound and mayhem within the herd. One can usually identify one of these subspecies by the angle of their horns, tending to be facing any direction except forward. Also, these species seem to be more physically gifted than that of the woodwinds.
The woodwinds are natural enemies of the brass, despite being in the same herd. The woodwinds are typically smaller, calmer, and more maneuverable on the band field than the brass, yet typically cannot be heard due to the overwhelming sound of the brass. The brass does everything in their power to drown out the sound of the woodwinds. Subspecies of the woodwind include the saxophone, clarinet, and flute. Saxophones are brass wannabe’s. Their instrument is made of metal, and yet they are still classified as a woodwind. The sounds saxophones make vary in tone and pitch—sporadic high squealing can be herd, often mistaken for a piccolo mating cry. The lower saxophones even go so far as to stick close to the tubas during the musical displays, despite the best efforts of the tubas to avoid them. The clarinets are more tolerable than the saxophones. They tend to keep to themselves and attract relatively little animosity from other members of the herd. Many clarinets like to pretend they are really in the Color Guard classification and spin their instruments in their hands, much to the annoyance of other members of the herd. Keeping to themselves so much, clarinets are widely considered to be the least sane species of band geek. Finally, there are the flutes, the most enigmatic subspecies in the herd. They are made of metal, like the saxophones yet do not even have a wooden reed to give them claim to being a woodwind. However, due to the frequent loathing harbored by the tubas, the brass refuses to accept them as part of their group. The flutes are almost exclusively female and generally disliked by every other subspecies of band geek. The flute resembles a piece of plumbing and sounds like a dog whistle. They are typically clueless as to the hostility of other members of the herd and consider themselves to be the pinnacle of musical talent.
Lastly, we have the Pageantry/Color Guard. Like the flutes, they are almost exclusively female, though males have been known to exist. Unlike the rest of the herd, they produce no sound through the use of an instrument—although they are far from silent. The Pageantry typically consists of Sabres, Rifles, and Flags. Sabres spin fake sword-like objects and rifles spin large, fake guns. Why they find this entertaining is a mystery to the rest of the band geek herd. The flags spin and throw colorful banners as part of a display understood only by other Pageantry members. The woodwinds, percussion, and brass do not consider them to be true members of the herd because they produce no sound, but let them think they are in the herd. CAUTION: Members of these subspecies are extremely territorial and have been known to inflict bodily harm upon others. Encroachment could lead to injury, and possibly death.
The behavior of the band geek varies depending on the age of the individual. The youngest is known as the Freshman. Freshmen consider themselves to be the experts of the herd and have no problem telling others this. Freshmen are frequently the targets of a ritual known as “trash-canning,” performed whenever the upperclassmen are bored. The next age is the Sophomore, typically made up of those who managed to live through their Freshman year. Slightly more mature than the freshmen, they have finally learned that they are not the smartest members of the herd, yet continue to act that way. Next are the juniors. They try to hang around the seniors, act as immature as the sophomores, and are responsible for most of the pranks committed within the herd. Lastly are the seniors, the oldest members of the herd. Seniors know everything about band. Never question this. Seniors spend a majority of their time keeping the Freshmen in line and reminiscing about past field shows, usually finishing by saying the Freshmen aren’t nearly as good as they were—and definitely not as tall. Note: Seniors feel passionately about their past performances--imitations of these songs by underclassmen are to be done at their own risk.
The language of the band geek is unlike any other. While some of it resembles English, some words are known only to the band geek, such as Sectionals, Tempo, Horn flash, and Drill Charts. Conversely, some words in English are completely unknown to the band geek, words like Free Time, Individuality, and Lives. A majority of communication, however, is non-verbal and comes in the form of music produced by the instruments of the band geeks, or series of hand gestures.
In conclusion, the band geek is a fascinating individual worthy of further study, particularly for its complex social structure within the herd and its ability to produce intricate and well practiced musical and visual displays.
Saturday
Ok so just kidding about the chiar auditions, well I mean we had them but I guess I didn't rock as much as I thought. I mean I'm not at the bottom I beat like 4 people. With a section of about 14ish I think I'm like 9th or 10th chair. Well better than being last. lol I mean theres only two parts anyways. My mom sent me a huge box of hot chocolate!! :) I think I will buy my own bottle of whipped cream. lol This semester is stressful and its only the second week. I can feel that this might kill me. At least my Spring break plans are falling nicely into place. My Uncle Glen was delighted that we wanted to come visit. Now we just need to call Uncle Tom and Aunt Ann. No Las Vegas though, just not enough time. Oh well. With MLK Day it feels like I haven't been to my Monday classes in ages. There one class that is only on Mondays and I don't even remember it. OMG Photoshop is like a whole new world. I mean I could follow during the lesson but when we got time to just play around with it, I couldn't remember the first step. lol I have to make a collage with at least 5 layers that describes me so if anyone has any ideas or pictures send them my way. I have like 5 weeks to do it so I'm not rushed. The only draw-back is that I don't have it on my computer so I have to go all the way to the Comm. Arts building to use the computer lab. Maybe I should invest in it...Ok I really need to do laundry, all of my jeans have salt on them. :( Winterguard compeition this evening.....My parents might come!!!! :) They are going to the Auto Show today. poo on them!

This weekend was fun. We went to the mall a couple of times and Bubble Island. lol They have good chicken there. Had Pizza House on Sunday which was wonderful, even though I love their burgers their pizza was good too. Chair auditions tonight. Oh goody. lol

Augh I've been slacking
First Saturday of the Spring Semester. I never thought I would make it to the weekend. Its like half raining and half snowing, so the perfect thing to do is to go shopping! lol Indoors of course!I saw 'Man of the Year' yesterday, it could have been funnier. MSU got the Food Network! Yea! I love cooking shows. I would make any man fat! lol Just look at my Dad, my family likes to cook and eat! I really have a craving for Olive Garden. I haven't been there in ages! lol On Sunday we are going to a Lutheran church, should be fun. We just have to find the bus that takes us there. If we don't like that church we'll find another and keep going until we find one. lol

My poor city
Coming home from school and seeing the city I grew up in just falling apart is depressing. This city is depressing. Empty buildings, people getting robbed in broad daylight and the high unemployment rate. the city is losing money fast, real fast. To the point that if things don't start shaping up, we could have to merge with Detroit and not even be our own city anymore. Businesses come and go so quickly and no good businesses want to come here. If another CVS comes I will scream. Yet our city manager gets paid millions of dollars, yet when the city hall was robbed this morning he didn't even bother coming down to see what happened. Sweet, not. Augh we should have moved to Wyandotte when we had the chance....
